Homes in Sutter Creek
The Main Street National Register district and the blocks climbing away from it hold Victorians and miners' cottages built between the 1850s and the 1910s. Knight Foundry and the Monteverde Store Museum are the public face of that era. Inside the houses, pier-and-post foundations have settled for a century, so floors slope toward the creek and dip between joists. We check the subfloor at the measure and put leveling compound or a plywood overlay in the estimate before the new floor goes down.
The 1970s through 1990s brought ranch homes and split-levels up the hills along Ridge Road and down toward Sutter Hill.
